PACCA Seeking Board Candidates

The Pennsylvania Child Care Association (PACCA) is looking for child care leaders who are passionate about advocacy and are dedicated to promoting high-quality child care in Pennsylvania to join our Board of Directors.
 
Our ideal candidates will:

• Have first-hand experience as owners, directors or other leadership roles in child care centers and home-based programs;
• Reflect the diversity of individuals and programs in Pennsylvania, including factors such as cultural background, language, race, location and program type;
• Commit to board participation; six board meetings per year, join a committee, and contribute to ongoing board initiatives as required.
• Candidates must be employed by a PACCA member organization.

Candidates should have decision-making authority and buy-in from their organizations but do not need to be the most senior-level executive from their organizations. Early and mid-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
