Do you need help paying for child care?
If you are concerned about the cost of quality child care, Child Care Works may be able to help. Working parents may be eligible for assistance for child care expenses if they meet the income guidelines. The annual income for a family to be eligible to receive subsidy if 200 percent or less of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
The Child Care Works program requires placing your name on a waiting list in your county. As of May 6, 2010, that wait list was cleared. For the first time since 2003, with the help of the federal stimulus ARRA funds, OCDEL and the CCIS agencies were able to provide Child Care Works subsidy to every family on the waiting list.
